  We begin each year with very few pictures in our picture gallery but as the year progresses the students in each room will display their work and activities for you to view and enjoy.  Here is a little information about our school.

About our School

Greenacres School, located in Raroa Terrace, Tawa, opened in 1972.  We are proud of being a community based school with modern facilities and up to date learning resources.

At Greenacres School we endeavour to provide a low student to teacher ratio, giving every student the benefit of individual attention throughout their early education.  We have a very strong focus on developing the key skills of reading, writing and numeracy in all our students.

Our Programmes

Our programmes address all the requirements of the National Curriculum.  We focus on our students developing independence and self esteem.

We work within clear disciplinary guidelines and expect students to respect others.
