Principal

  A very warm welcome to all parents, caregivers and students to Greenacres School 2010.  I am Graeme Schofield, Principal.

Your child is the most important asset that we have.  We are committed to providing the highest quality education for all students at the school.  We see education of your child as a partnership between home and school.  We value your input and hope that you will share in the development and progress of your child at school.

At Greenacres School we provide a range of challenging learning opportunities within the classroom and beyond to enable the learner to develop at their individual rate.  We have a particular focus on developing excellent skills in our students in numeracy and literacy.  We have always ensured that the school has staff of a very high calibre and that the resources that we use to teach the children are excellent.

Prior to my appointment to the position of Principal in February 1987, I held the position of principal in two Wairarapa schools and before that as a teacher in various schools in Hawkes Bay and the Wairarapa.  i have really enjoyed watching the school grow to the point now where it has trebled in size from its roll of 82 in February 1987,  You may contact me any time at principal@greenacres.school.nz
