Room 6 have been making moving vehicles in Technology.  We started by working out how to make a working axle using the materials we were given (a straw, a wooden kebab stick and some milk bottle lids). After some trial and error, we discovered that if we attached the straw to the vehicle, then put the stick through the straw, it would turn.  All we had to do then was attach the wheel to the stick.

We have also been experimenting with building towers.  We were given a pile of newspaper and had to build a tower.  The only rules were that the tower had to be taller than Miss Harrison, stand up by itself and be made with nothing except newspaper and a small amount of adhesive tape.

Over the next few weeks we will keep changing the photos here until all of us have been featured with our vehicles.
