Room Two

Welcome to Room 2, 2010. Colour, patterns and shapes.have dominated our first term at school. We used the five elements of drawing to make patterns in art and in maths we have been discovering lots about shape and we enjoyed making tessallating patterns with our shapes. We also discovered that we could make new paint colours from the three primary colours of red, blue and yellow. We used this procedure to paint our Smarty Pants. We learnt how to hold a paintbrush and apply paint correctly. Our science unit this term was about colour and light and we have been learning about the colours of the spectrum. One of the fun activities we did was to make Rainbow Jelly. That was so yummy and it looked so pretty!!!!
